Classes take place via webcam in virtual classrooms. Classrooms feature a shared whiteboard, desktop sharing, collaborative document editing, and file transfer.
You can teach free classes or charge a fee for each attendee. You set the ticket price and Keenville sells the tickets for you, retaining a modest commission.
You can rate and review subjects in which you've participated. Or directly rate other members you've learned from or taught. Read reviews and ratings from other members to help you decide what to try.
Create or join public or private study groups for discussing specific topics and sharing relevant photos and videos. Share files with your group from your own private file area.
Of course, Keenville is a full-fledged social network. You can “favorite” subjects, “like” activity feed items, and “friend” other teachers and learners. Optionally post your subject offers or requests to Facebook automatically. Share subjects and other pages on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and more.
